Remembering The King of Pop 1958-2009

During these past few weeks I admit I have been in denial about Michael Joseph Jackson's passing. Having parents who are ultimate fans of MJ, resulted in me growing up and listening to all his wonderful songs, music videos/short films.

In grade 7, I performed a winning dance choreography to his hit single "Black & White" for the Stop the Raciscm campaign we had going on at that time. I will always remember Michael Jackson not only for his legendary and unforgettable music but mainly because of the kind, compationate, gentle, and loving man behind the music.

May Michael finally rest in peace.

Britney Spears Concert in Montreal's Bell Center

Britney Spear's comeback she sold out her tickets in Montreal faster than anywhere else! Go Montreal, go!!! I'm not a major fan of BS but I give her props, she has struggled a lot and as weird as it sounds her new single Circus was that good that it made me want to go see her show lol!

The opening show featured the Pussy Cat Dolls, even Will Ferell was there! Unfortunately, I couldn't go... Grrr... Davian came out with a nasty fever so my B-Day gift ended up with my brother and his girlfriend... But she's coming back to perform here on May 5th, so no biggy! My brother took amazing pictures and videos of the whole she-bang! On the other hand I'm happy thou' that Davian is feeling much better today!

Hi everyone! I managed to slip away for a bit and take the time to wish you-all a very Merry Christmas filled with lots of laughter, peace and love. In case you haven't known already, this month marks our 3rd month anniversary and so far it's been a blast! Tim Holtz - Ranger Ink - Distress Crackle Paint

Howdy ladies! We've just added Tim Holtz Crackle paint which is a unique one-step paint that cracks as it dries. With a convenient, built-in applicator brush, it adds an instant aging to cardstock, chipboard, paper mache projects and more!

This paint is really fabulous to use on projects in a wide variety of styles making it a very flexible product. I just love the texture it adds, using a thin layer of paint gives a subtle crackle effect and a generous stroke of paint gives a mighty crackling effect, which is great to use on a bigger art surface. Once you are done painting and drying, you have a beautiful finish all on its own however, still alter it a bit further.

Remember to store it upright and make sure the cap is sealed properly, the paint is meant to be thick so don't be shocked once you open it for the first time, however furter in time you may notice that the paint could become unmanageably thick you can always sprinkle in a few drops of water which gets it back to its usual texture! Do not worry the water will not harm the crackeling component!

The history of "Trick'O'Treating" can be traced back to the early celebrations of All Soul's Day in Britain. The poor would go begging and the housewives would give theRandomm special treats called "soulcakes". This was called "going a-souling", and the "soulers" would promise to say a prayer for the dead.
Over time the custom changed and the town's children became the beggars. As they went from house to house they would be given apples, buns, and money.

During the Pioneer days of the American West, the housewives would give the children candy to keep from being tricked. The children would shout "Trick or Treat!".
