How are you?
As promised in my last post I began making layouts and home decor projects for Christmas.
I inspired myself by listening to Christmas songs! (Even thou' there's no snow yet!).
Below is my lil' work shop of holiday projects!

I noticed that I had a big box full of scrap paper. I love to use many styles/designs of papers/cardstock on a single layout, and I hate throwing scraps away so I keep them for future projects.
For this week I will show you how to make some Christmas trees using the papers I've already used in my past layouts. Do you recognize these papers?

To make the tree I made a cone with a sheets of white cardstock, then I grabbed a bunch of scrap/scratch paper that I thought would coordinated well and I cut those to 3/8" by 1.5". To make the "curl" I just rolled my paper against a big marker!
Sticking your curled up pieces onto the cone is tricky, it's best start from the end-up!
You could always add some glitter, pearls, bling or ribbons, but I wanted a clean and simple tree!
Next week I'll show you how I made the others holiday decor pictured!
Take care and until next week!
